The club is not confined to any specific scale or location and there are a range of interests including garden gauge*, O, OO, n-gauge, and narrow-gauge.

Facilities in the club are confined to its three rooms. The main modelling room is 26’x12′ ( 8 x 3.66 metres) and houses the clubs new O gauge layout ‘Mere Abbas’ (under construction), the ‘Blackmore Vale’ exhibition layout (stored), and the new exhibition (OO) layout ‘Three Bridges by the Sea’. It also has an engineering and wood working area. Moving on we have a toilet with wash basin and finally we arrive at the club room 16’x12′ ( 5 x 3.66 metres). This is a fully carpeted room that has a small galley, library and the clubs two other layouts that allow members to run their OO or N gauge rolling stock. We meet at 7-9pm every Wednesday . Those members with keys have 24/7 access.

The club also has a large collection of model railway books, and DVDs.

(* please note due to space constraints we do not currently have a garden layout at the club)
